The other day I posted about a golden chrysalis on the wall inside our house. Yesterday I noticed that the butterfly had emerged. I carefully took this photo, hoping not to disturb it too much. I found it interesting that the shell of the chrysalis was transparent. I was expecting it to remain golden. She stayed in this position for several hours and then flew around inside the house and eventually outside into a large tree. I wish her well in this phase of life.
