The number of dogs greatly outweighs the number of cats in Puriscal. This is only the second cat I have seen in town. All the cats I have met here are badass! One needs to be tough to survive this climate and environment. Before this photo was taken the cat ran for his life as three dogs, on leashes, became overly excited by seeing the cat. Here he returns to the scene, dogs gone, all safe for now.
