This lone flower added some color to the dry season river. After looking at this photo I returned the next day to try for a better shot only to find that a cow had eaten the plant. Some of the neighbor's cows decided the grass was greener on the other side and broke through their fence and tried to move over to our property. They had fun for a few days before the fence was repaired.
