There was a rare nature sighting at our place yesterday. It was so rare that our workers that have lived here their entire lives have never seen one. A Northern Ghost bat was hanging from the metal roof structure just outside the door to the guest kitchen, also known as the Alchemical Lounge. He was aware of me taking photos and would adjust his ears to keep a track of me. As far as bats go I think this one was pretty cute.
