They hatched! And after a long internet search I was surprised to discover what they are. These are the nymph form of the Lantern Fly - Fulgora Laternaria. I counted 67 nymphs. They have been hanging around the egg case for several days. I have seen an adult only one time. You can see pictures and a video of the adult here. I wish them all the best on their journey.
