It rained 3.5 inches the other night. The next morning I went outside and found this lizard curled up under my boots. I have never seen this type of lizard. I carefully kept the dog away and we went on our morning walk. When I returned the lizard had moved to the back patio where I took this picture. I think he might have been rained out of his house and was forced to find a new place. Last I saw him he was walking quietly past our dog into the forest beyond. The internet tells me this is a Yellow-spotted Tropical Night Lizard.
