A while back the owner of this property, on the drive to Puriscal, tried to move his fence closer to the public road. This move would have given him extra land. It might have also deterred people from dumping garbage on his property. One day we drove by and I saw some type of official looking people inspecting the fence posts. The next week the new fence posts were gone and the originals remained. I understand it's not uncommon for one property owner to try to grab a little extra land in this manner. For that reason it's a good idea to have a property surveyed prior to purchasing so you can be sure of the legal boundaries.
