Spencer and I took the short cut trail to the river to see first hand the changes the rainy season has made. Last summer steps were dug into the dirt making this trail much easier to navigate.
This is what I wanted to see. Every rainy season enormous amounts of dirt and rock fall into the river in this area. This year the slide has enlarged so much that where there used to be two separate slide areas, now there is one huge one. I'm still amazed at the amount of change nature displays here. As Heraclitus said "The only thing that is constant is change".
