A few weeks ago, during the "little summer", I was taking pictures at the river when I noticed this large tiger-heron was in the water very close to me. I looked at the bird for a while and then decided to change lenses and take some shots. I was lucky the bird wasn't spooked by the motions I needed to go through to get the right lens out of the back-pack and onto the camera. The first picture is where I first spotted the bird in the river, then it flew into a nearby tree.
