I look forward to Wednesdays and I think the chickens do too. Every Wednesday the chickens move into a new paddock. They are so excited to explore fresh territory that they ignore the coconut treats and immediately start scratching the ground looking for delicious treasures. It appears they are in a race with each other to see who can find the bugs first. The vegetation in the paddocks is still intact, however it has decreased substantially with the lack of rain and the beating the hens deliver to the ground and plants.
