I came across this in the middle of a trail on the property. At first I thought it was some strange type of poop, but upon closer inspection I think it is a pellet, or puke from a large bird, probably an owl. What you see here are the undigested parts of a bird. I enjoy finding things like this, to me it means the property is healthy enough to support many life forms.
