I set up the camera and new telephoto lens in a different spot this week and managed to get some great close up shots. After I was done taking pictures and put the camera away I looked at the vulture feeding area only to see Spencer, with no collar or leash, eating away at the buffet. Somehow he managed to back out of his collar. I called him to me and he grabbed the biggest piece of chicken carcass he could and ran out the gate. Lucky for us a massive rain and thunderstorm was starting and he came back home quickly. His collar is now put on one notch tighter.
