Orange-billed Sparrow in Puriscal

I still farm black soldier fly larvae and now that the chickens are long gone I put the larvae in a bowl every morning for the wild birds. I set up the trail camera inside the "worm castle" and so far found three different types of birds eat the larvae. This video is of the Orange-billed Sparrow. What I found most interesting about this bird was the way she uses her beak to subdue the larvae.
