Seeds and Fluff

various seeds from Puriscal
Nature geek alert! During the dry season I collected some examples of fibery fluff and seeds that I see on my walks through the property. I finally got around to arranging them for a photo and here it is. Starting on the left are two sections of fluff and seeds from the pod of a poroporo tree, next is the fluff from a balsa tree. The top row of seeds are from the guacimo tree, under that are wild cashew seeds, next is the very poisonous red seeds from the porĂ³ tree and three, quarter sized seeds from a woody vine. On the right is the very soft fluff and seeds from the kapok tree. This is just a small sampling of the things I find on the forest floor.
