Santiago de Puriscal, Costa Rica |
Photos from town have been sitting on my computer so I am sharing a few today. The picture above is of the old church in the center of Santiago de Puriscal. I've seen a number of stores come and go on the corner. The latest is a grocery store that has been there for several years.

The runoffs for the presidential candidates happened a few weeks ago. This woman was in the race but did not make it into the final two.

Pizote family under a car in Escazu |
Whenever we go through Escazu I am on the lookout for the pizotes. I saw them on this trip. They found some food and took it under a car to eat.

Electric Car Charging Station |
I saw a new electric car charging station in the Pricesmart parking lot in Escazu. I inspected this one, like the others, and didn't see a way to pay. Some research on the internet leads me to believe you need to have membership in a club in order to use it. Or maybe it's free! I highly doubt that though because of the high cost of electricity in Costa Rica.
