A Glimpse into Santiago de Puriscal’s Evolving Scene

For the first time, I saw an electric car at the Santiago de Puriscal charging station. It’s been there for years, but I’ve never seen it used. Electric cars aren’t common here.

Across the street, kids play soccer on the park’s AstroTurf. Next to it is a sand volleyball court, but nobody uses it. Maybe a soccer field would be better for the kids.

It is rare to see people sleeping on the sidewalk, but the past few times I have been in town this man has been on the sidewalk. I don't know his story or how long he will be tolerated there. I didn't see his dog when I took the photo.
