The other day I hiked to the boarder of our property. Here is what I saw on the other side of the fence. Our neighbor's property greatly contrasts ours. We have secondary forest and he has clear cut, over grazed pasture. The man who owns this piece of land travels by horse for two hours to access his property and take care of the bulls. Most large property owners around us either grow sugar cane or raise cattle. Preserving property, like we are doing, is rare in our area.
