It's not often that a spider like this makes a web in a location where I can easily photograph both sides. I think it's a type of Golden Orb-Spider. This one was on the small side, only about two inches from leg tip to tip. She chose to build her web in and around the gutter's rain chain. The next heavy rain will destroy the web and send the spider off to new territory.
