The other day we heard a loud noise coming from below the cliff. Yesterday I went to inspect and found that the large Guanacaste tree (on the left) snapped and lost two very large branches into the river below. This was most likely caused from strong winds. The wood didn't look rotten to me, maybe it was just too old and heavy for the winds.
