I had a great time observing this Ruddy Ground Dove go through its morning preening ritual. The bird carefully cleaned every feather, and when finished he made a series of wing stretched. I captured one of the movements in this photo. When he was done, he flew to a nearby branch where another dove was situated, and they proceeded to groom each other.
