I look forward to May, the one time of year when the gardenia plant blooms. It had a record number of flowers on it this year.
Once a year I get to see how my photography skills have improved. I find the flowers challenging to photograph because of their size and how busy the background can be.
The blooms occurred over a full week so I had plenty of time to practice.
The floral scent is an incredible gift to enjoy.
