I took this photo while exploring down river a few weeks ago. This area has tons of full sun exposure and the beginnings of lots of green plant matter growing in the river. As the dry season progresses the algae will increase. I have observed that the algae provides excellent habitat for tadpoles, small fish and amphibian eggs.
