Happy New Year! It has been one year since my ladies began laying eggs. All four of them are still alive and doing well. Three out of the four paddocks have very little ground vegetation left, while the one they are pictured in still does. Regardless of the ground cover, they seem to enjoy hours on end of looking for something to eat in the dirt. Only one chicken has received a name. You can see her in the back of this picture, she has a floppy comb and has been named Floppy.
