I can see the giant kapok tree in the valley from our patio and watched it all day in hopes of photographing the fluff taking off with the wind. It was pouring rain when the winds picked up and I managed to get these two shots. The first shows the beginning swirl of fluff taking off.
The second shows more fluff balls dispersing. I was impressed that the fluff could launch even through the rain.
