The avocado tree finished flowering not so long ago. It usually blooms this time of year. If it follows the pattern of past years then hundreds of small fruits form and then many get blown off by the strong winds of late January and February. What small fruits remain get eaten by the toucans. One year we put a scarecrow in the tree and we were able to eat a few avocados.
