This is probably the closest I will ever get to a wild Mottled Owl. Unfortunately, this one slammed into the window. Fortunately, it wasn't killed or hurt. It recovered for a few moments before flying away. This was the first bird I have encountered that seemed interested, and not scared of the camera lens.
