This week I am sharing a few photos of insects found on the property. This one stuck out like a superhero in a red and black cape. For perspective, the bug is on a blade of grass.

Beady red eyes and a grey body, very unique!
This small beetle simply looked poetic on the dew dappled grass blade.
This is one of the more unusual insects I have seen because of the strange appendage protruding from the neck area. The small head with bee like body was also odd.
