A wild duck paid us a visit. He was very calm looking down at me from the roof of the guest suite. I see these birds often at the river and in forested areas, but this is the first time I saw one on the roof.

His next visit was the chicken palace. I didn't witness this in person, but heard the reports. The chickens were frightened and huddled in a corner. I'm sure Junior made the ladies less terrified of the stranger at the door.
