I intended on walking by myself to the river, but Roxy insisted that she come along. Here she is posing on the short cut trail to the river. I wanted to walk up the gorge, but that would require that I
give Roxy "special transport" because there are some places she can't
swim through.
My plan was to take pictures and that doesn't work very well while holding a wet dog. So, instead we explored the river banks until she became way too interested in something that was living in a crack in a rock. "Girl time" was deemed over and we walked back home.
