A few days ago I noticed this fig tree, which is conveniently located near the house, was full of fruit. I had it on my picture taking list. Yesterday John spotted this rather large male Pizote in the same tree and called me over to take photos.
The convenient location, the blue sky and good lighting was perfect to capture these photos. I enjoyed watching him eat the fruit and noted that he would simply crawl to the desired location and eat the fruit with his mouth without any assistance from the front legs.
